- Margaret Lanz
Following a lengthy illness, Margaret Lanz, 82, widow of the late Charles Lanz, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Ertel, 169 Moore avenue, Waterloo, early today. A former resident of Clifford, the deceased has lived in Waterloo for the past 15 years. A daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Dietz, the deceased was born at Philipsburg, Dec. 10, 1855.
Surviving are three sons, Henry and William H., of Toronto and Ednar C., of Waterloo, three daughters, Mrs. Herbert Joyce of Buffalo, N.Y., Mrs. Edwin Krauter of Saskatchewan and Mrs. Joseph Ertel of Waterloo, one brother, Henry Dietz of Walkerton, 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. One son and two daughters predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held from the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joseph Ertel, 169 Moore avenue, Waterloo, on Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock to Clifford Lutheran church for services at 2:30 p.m., followed by interment in the Clifford Cemetery.
Rev. J. Schmieder, pastor of St. Matthew's Lutheran church, of which the deceased was a member, will officiate.
