  Mrs. John E. Wilhelm of RR 2, Baden, died Wednesday at her home after a lengthy illness. She was 73. The former Mary Diebel, Mrs. Wilhelm was born in Wilmot Township, April 5, 1895, and was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Diebel. She lived in Wilmot Township most of her life. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church, Kitchener, and of the women's association of the church. Surviving are her husband, to whom she was married in New Hamburg in 1916; one son, Walter of RR 2, Baden; one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Mohr of RR 2, Baden; three brothers, Henry of Owendale, Mich., and John and Clarence, both of Gagetown, Mich; two sisters, Mrs. Ezra (Hattie) Abbe of Owendale, Mich., and Mrs. Bessie Bertrand of Bay City, Mich., and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by one brother and two sisters. The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the service will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. Rev. W. L. Pierce and Rev. H. E. Morphy will officiate. Burial will be in Parkview cemetery, Waterloo. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Memorial fund of Highland Baptist Church will be accepted as expressions of sympathy. New Hamburg Independent 1968
