- James A. Black died suddenly at his home, 19 Mary Street, early Sunday morning of a heart condition. A resident of Kitchener for 33 years, he was 47 years of age. He was born in Damascus, Ont. Mr. Black was an employee of the W. E. Woefle Shoe Company for 22 years. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Waterloo. Surviving are his wife, two sons, William and James Jr., one daughter, Lois, all at home, and by his father David Black, and one sister, Mrs. Rozel Wray, also of Kitchener. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2:30 from the Letter and Dreisinger Funeral Home with interment in Woodland Cemetery. Rev. C. A. Roberts, pastor of St. John's Church, will conduct the services.
