  Kushner & Feldman's Store. Though we undoubtedly enjoy one of the finest climates in the world there is no denying the fact that the thermometer sometimes goes uncomfortably low-in plain English "it gets pretty cold." Furs are therefore almost a necessity. But apart from the necessities of the case, they are dressy and fashionable and give a touch of style all their own. Berlin is fortunate in possessing a firm of practical furriers - men who understand furs from beginning to end. The reference is to Kushner & Feldman, who for the past two and one half years have been located at 122 King St. East. Both are practical makers of furs and all the beautiful creations seen in their show rooms are the work of their own hands. Mr. Kushner was formerly with Fairweather, the great Toronto fur house and Mr. Feldman likewise has served many years in the business. They take the raw skins and convert them into the lovely scarfs, muffs, ruffs, mits, caps, collarettes, etc., with which their store is filled. All the fine furs known to commerce are stocked, such as sable, mink, Isabella Fox, Opposum, Persian Lamb, marten etc. The best of workmanship goes into every garment, the fur for which is carefully selected. Buyers of furs will find Kushner & Feldman's prices reasonable in every case and their furs fashionably designed. It's the place to buy furs.
