  Esther Bricker,"the eldest, was born February 7th, 1847. She is married to Sidney Snider, a farmer. They reside near Hawksville, Ontario. They have a family of eight children." Eby, Ezra E. (1895). A biographical history of Waterloo township and other townships of the county: being a history of the early settlers and their descendants, mostly all of Pennsylvania Dutch origin: as also much other unpublished historical information chiefly of a local character. Berlin [Kitchener, Ont.]: [s.n.]. ________________ SNYDER. Esther Bricker Snyder was born Feb. 7, 1847; died May 4, 1930; aged 83 y. 2 m. 7 d. On Dec. 17, 1867, she was married to Sydney Snyder. This union was blessed with 9 children: Albert, Addie, Nelson, John, Alexander, Edward, Elsie, Harvey, and Annie. She was of a quiet and peaceful nature and exercised a spirit of charity and helpfulness, especially among the sick which will long be remembered.
