  Doerr, Ralph - At St. Mary's Hospital, following a brief illness, on Thursday, Aug. 6, 1992. Ralph Doerr, dear husband and loving helpmate of Mae (Johnson) Doerr, whom he married September 27, 1933. Dear brother to Marville (Mrs. Lewis Hahn) of Kitchener and Woody Doerr and his wife Kaye of New Hamburg and will be sorrowfully missed by his many nieces and nephews and by his great-nieces and great-nephews. A love brother-in-law to Grace Murray of Ripley, Edna and her husband Bill Reid of Tara, Phyllis and her husband Russell Smith of Port Elgin and Ruth and her husband Gordon Ribey of Underwood. Besides his parents, Ralph was predeceased by his sister, Phyllis Current and her husband Lloyd. Mr. Doerr having resided in New Hamburg for more than 40 years was a very active member of Zion Untied Church and devoted most of his working career at Hahn Brass (now Stanley Works) prior to his moving to Kitchener, where he then joined and became active in Trinity United Church. Mae and her family will receive friends at the Westmount Funeral Home, 1001 Ottawa St. S. (at Westmount Road), Kitchener, on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. At noon Saturday transfer will be made to trinity United Church where a funeral service will be held at 2 p.m., The Rev. Dr. Rod Sykes officiating. Internment will be made at Sanctuary Park Cemetery, Port Elgin on arrival of motors on Monday, August 10 at 1 p.m. Kitchener-Waterloo Record, August 6, 1992
