- Mrs. Anna Knechtel - Mrs. Anna Knechtel, 69, of 247 Franklin Ave., died Friday after a lengthy illness.
Born in Kitchener, her maiden name was Anna Weber, daughter of the late Henry Weber and Pauline Nettorf. Her husband, Amiel Knechtel, predeceased her.
Mrs. Knechtel was formerly employed with George Schnarr Buttons for 25 years.
She was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.
Surviving are four brothers, George and Conrad Weber of Kitchener, Frederick of St. Jacobs and Harry of Toronto; and one sister, Mrs. Fred (Catherine) Yanke of St. Jacobs.
The funeral will be held Monday at 2 pm at the Gruhn Funeral Home, Rev. A.W. Lotz will officiate and interment will be in St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.
