  Death After Long Suffering \endash Mrs. Benz, Member of St. Paul's Church, Ends Long Term of Suffering \endash Death came at 9 o'clock this morning to Mrs. Emmanuel Benz, 113 E. King Street, after a long illness, during which she suffered greatly. Deceased, who was in her 41st year was a faithful member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, where she was greatly beloved among all who knew her. She was a member of the Ladies' Aid Society. One child predeceased her, at the age of 7 years. Mrs. Benz was never very strong, and her marvelous patience and a beautiful resignation, when she suffered acutely during the last days of her illness, was a lesson to all with whom she came in contact. Only her husband survives, and to him goes out the sympathy of all in his bereavement. The funeral will take place on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the house and at 2.30 o'clock in the church, thence to Mount Hope cemetery. Berlin News Record Dec 23 1913 pg 1
