      It is with great sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our 'Jerry', peacefully in his sleep at Westhill Retirement Home on Friday June 19, 2015.

      Lovingly remembered by his wife Irma, son Daniel and his wife Carolyn, daughter Lisa and her husband Bruce Chiasson, grandchildren Courtney, Jon and Ben Zinken, Brittani, Landon and Stephanie Sellers and Alisia and Justina Zinken. Brother to Richard and his wife Pat.

      Predeceased by his son Dean, mother Hedwig, brothers Ross and Ken, niece Stephanie Harris-Lalonde and Michael Zinken.

      Devoted uncle to many nieces and nephews; loyal friend to many and extended family of cottagers on Belwood Lake.
      Jerry lived his life to the fullest. He was a successful salesman at CN Weber for 30 plus years. Vibrant in every way, he captured the hearts of many!
      His sense of humour and passion for life will live on in all of those who knew him.

      Jerry's family will receive relatives and friends on Monday June 22, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King Street West, Kitchener (the funeral home is accessible via Wellington St., to Moore Ave., to King St. \endash please call 519-745-9495 if you require further directions). A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 23, 2015 at 11 am at Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 137 Queen Street South, Kitchener. Reverend Larry Gajdos officiating. Reception to following. Private family interment on Wednesday June 24, 2015 at St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery.

      Memorial donations may be made to Historic St. Paul's Lutheran Church and can be arranged through the funeral home.
