      Dr. Randolph J. Patterson, of Ottawa, peacefully at his summer home at Prescott on Monday, June 2, 1997. Born in Bruno, Saskatchewan; graduated Queen's University in Medicine, 1944; Post- graduate studies in Radiology at Kingston General and Ottawa Civic Hospitals; former Chief of Radi- ology at Ottawa Civic Hospital. He was an active and devoted member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church of Ottawa. Lovingly remembered by his wife Bernice "Bern" of Ottawa, daughter Sandra (Deryl Hurl) of Calgary, son Randy "R.J." (Nancy) of Ottawa and his granddaughter Maddison Hurl. Brother of Wilfrid (Hazel) of Anaheim, California and uncle of many nieces and nephews. Prede- ceased by his parents Dr. and Mrs. Bernard Patterson of Prescott, a sister, Hazel and brothers Ralph, Leonard, Bernard and Douglas. Friends may call at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 235 Kent Street, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service Thursday at 11 a.m. in St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Sparks Street at Bay Street. Interment Highland Park Cemetery. In memoriam donations to the Heart Institute, Ottawa Civic Hospital would be appreciated.
