  SCHATZ, Ruth (nee Strassburger) - Passed away peacefully, on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at Hillside Nursing Home, RR 5 Stratford at the age of 81. Born in Waterloo in 1934 to both the late Albert and Matilda Strassburger. Mother of David (Kitchener), Kevin (Tavistock) and Karen Schmidt (Dale Lang) (Stratford). Grandmother of Danielle (nee Schmidt) (Evan) McLeod and Daryl Schmidt (Sarah Detzler). Gramma Great to Ellie McLeod. Sister of Carol Nemesvari, Paul Strassburger and Charlotte Sheardown. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sister Lois Stanson (1991). Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener at a later date.
