  Mr. William Pauli, 63, of New Hamburg died at London Friday following a lingering illness. She was born in Ellice Township, the former Lavina Kropf, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Simon Kropf. She had been a resident of New Hamburg since 1931. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, New Hamburg. Surviving besides her husband are two sons, William of Auden, Ont. and Karl of New Hamburg; five daughters, Mrs. Clayton (May) Wagner of Kitchener, Mrs. Edwin (Joan) Nabert of Toronto, Mrs. Robert (Patsy) Brenner of New Hamburg, Mrs. Emerson (Barbara) Honderich of Baden and Grace Pauli of Kitchener; three brothers, Ezra of Wellesley, Alvin and Albert, both of Wilmot Township; four sisters, Mrs. Noah (Fannie) Ruby of Millbank, Mrs. A. (Katie) Schlicter of Kitchener, Mrs. Ed (Barbara) Oakley of Waterloo and Mrs. Ivan (Lena) Bender of Baden; and 16 grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons, one brother and one sister. The funeral service was held at Trinity Lutheran Church, Monday afternoon. Rev. Norman A. Keffer officiated. Temporary entombment followed in the Graff Memorial Chapel.
