  Mrs. Alvin Hilker, 34 Elgin street, Waterloo, died at the Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital last night after a short illness. Born in Sullivan township, Grey County, Mrs. Hilker was 34 years of age. Surviving are her parents. Mr. and Mrs. David Such, her husband, two sons and two daughters, Kenneth, 12, Bernice, 11, Donald, 8 and Marlene, 3, also four brothers, Clarence Such of Owen Sound, Frederick, Edwin and Alfred Such of Waterloo, and two sisters, Mrs. George Grein, Waterloo, and Mrs. Charles Levegue, Kingston. The funeral will be held from the Letter and Dreisinger Funeral Home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, thence to Redeemer Lutheran church for service at 2.30. Internment will take place at Mount Hope cemetery. Rev. K.A. Kreisel, pastor, will conduct the services. Kitchener Daily Record, October 29, 1938
