    • ARNO W. RITZ

      A native of New Hamburg, Arno W. Ritz of 57 Heins Ave. Kitchener, died Saturday In hospital at Kitchener following a lengthy illness. He was 83.

      He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Ritz, and was born In New Hamburg October 25, 1884. He had resided In the Twin Cities for 75 years.

      Prior to his retirement in 1955, he was employed for 50 years at the L. McBrine Co. Ltd.

      Mr. Ritz was a member of the Highland Road United Church.

      Surviving are his wife, the former Lillian A. Berck, one son, Edgar A. Ritz of Kitchener, and two grandchildren.

      He was predeceased by four brothers and three sisters and was the last surviving member of his family.

      The Ratz Bechtel Funeral Home was In charge, and the service was held there Monday afternoon with Rev. A.E. Holley of Highland Road United Church officiating. Burial was In Mount Hope Cemetery Tuesday.
