  Obituary for John David Freund At St. Mary's Hospital, on Friday, October 24, 2014 John Freund of Kitchener suddenly passed away at 76 years of age. Mr. Freund was a longtime employee of J.M. Schneiders Inc., for 40 years before his retirement in 1996. Beloved husband of Carol (Geach), Kitchener and loving father of James Freund and his wife Julie, both of Kitchener. Dear brother of Wayne Freund and his wife Valerie. Also missed by his in- laws David and Barbara Geach. Sadly missed by his grandchildren Tara and her husband Ryan, Missy and her husband Mike, Greg, Amy, Erica, his two great-grandchildren River and Mason and his niece and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Marion, his son Michael and his sister Floris and her husband Ron. John's family will receive relatives and friends at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 2 - 2:45 pm. A celebration of his life will be celebrated in the chapel at 3 pm followed by a reception. A private interment will be held at Bloomingdale Cemetery "John Freund - Friday, October 24Th, 2014". 2021.
