Survived by his son, Jim Shantz and his wife Janet of Kitchener and his sister, Ruth Bruder of Breslau. Predeceased by his parents, Leander and Alberta Shantz as well as his brother-in-law, Ferdinand Bruder. Relatives and friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Thursday from 1 p.m. until the funeral service in the chapel at 2: 30 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery.
