Notes |
- Henry John Earl Dechert born 27 May 1884 in Preston and Agnes Grace. Both are buried in Parklawn cemetery. Henry is the son of Martin Dechert and Margaretha Stunn or Stunz. Henry enlisted in ww1 and was sent home as unfit due to misconduct (ref. CEF papers) and changed his name to Henry "Harry" Anderson. Have heard that he returned to ww1 and fought as Henry Anderson but do not have the proof of that. Henry spent part of 1922 and 1923 in England and then returned to Preston.
