  WASOWICZ, Stella Stella's family is sad to announce her passing on November 30, 2010, at the age of 90. Wife of the late Louis Wasowicz (1990). Mother of Louise Horton (Kurt Sommer), Bernice (Danny) Bishop, Jo-Ann Wasowicz and Pauline (Lorne) Wasowicz- Adams. Grandmother of Andrea (Gerry), Anthony (Kriston), Alison (Wally), Tricia (Desmond), Sean (Heidi), Terry (Jody), Paula (Anthony), Jamie (Karen), Shannon (Bill), Maura (Mathieu), Erin (Matt), Kara, Julie (Ken) and Chris (Courtney). Great-grandmother of 19. Sister-in-law of Helen Startek of Burlington. Stella is loved by her cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Edward Startek and John Startek, her sister-in-law Lillian Startek and her great-grandson Carter Horton. Stella's family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, December 3, 2010 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. at the Henry Walser Funeral Home , 507 Frederick St., Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Parish prayers at 8:30 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home at 11:20 a.m. on Saturday, December 4, 2010 followed by a procession to St. Anthony Daniel R.C. for a funeral mass at 12:00 p.m. Reception to follow at the Parish Life Centre. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Stella to the Canadian Cancer Society, St. Anthony Daniel Parish Life Centre or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards are available at the funeral home).
