  POETKER, Patricia A. Patricia Anne Poetker, 76, of Tavistock passed away at her residence on Saturday, December 15, 2012. She was born at Bridgeport on October 31, 1936, a daughter of the late Aaron and Marian (Miller) Boshart. Pat was a farm business partner with her husband in North Easthope Township prior to their retiring and moving to Tavistock. She was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Sebastopol-Tavistock. Pat is survived by her husband, Gerard Henry "George" Poetker, whom she married at Wellesley on July 25, 1959; two children, Kim and husband Perry Hehn of Stratford, Greg and wife Paula Poetker of St. Mary's; six grandchildren, Travis and wife Melissa Cooke, Candis Cooke and fiancé Scott Leyser, Jessica Hehn and friend Beau Dill, Ainslee Hehn, Ryan Poetker and Josh Poetker; three great-grandsons, Ethan, Kayden and Jackson Cooke; her brother and sister-in-law, Linc and Grace Boshart of Kitchener and several "Poetker" brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and their families. She was predeceased by her sister, Delores Parrott. A private funeral service was held in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock Street North, Tavistock on Wednesday, December 19, 2012. The Rev. Richard P. Brown officiated. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made through the Francis Funeral Home by calling 519-655-2431.
