    • Wm. F. MAKCROW Dies Suddenly Playing Sport
      A well-known local young man died suddenly here on Saturday while playing broomball.
      William Floyd Makcrow of 19 Clarence St., collapsed on the ice at the Hespeler Memorial Arena, playing broomball for the Guelph Bowling Club, following the conclusion of the midget hockey tournament.
      Born in Hespeler Oct. 20, 1932, Mr. Makcrow was a life-long resident of the town. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Makcrow of Preston, and was married to the former Waneeta Garness.
      Mr. Makcrow was employed at Clare Brothers in Preston, was a member of the Guelph Bowling Club, and the Puslinch Golf and Country Club, showing a keen interest in sports.
      Surviving are his wife of 10 Clarence St., Hespeler, his parents, two brothers, Robert of Galt and Donald of RR 1, Preston, and a sister, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Caskenette of Trout Creek, Ont.
      Mr. Makcrow is resting at the Nelson Funeral Home, 23 Galt St., Hespeler, where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. Burial will follow in Hespeler cemetery.
