  THOMPSON Charles Alfred Passed away at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Monday March 21, 1988. Charles Thompson of 108 Meyers Road in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Irene Jarvie and dear father of Paul of Guelph, Pamela (Mrs. Robert Purdy) of Teeswater. Dear grandfather of Kim, Rob, Jennifer, Cheryl and Nancy. Dear friend of Evelyn Foot. Mr. Thompson was predeceased by a sister Vera Hall. Born in Oshawa on November 8, 1910, Mr. Thompson has been a resident of Cambridge for most of his life and was retired from Galt Tackle. He was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and a member of the Galt Masonic Lodge #257 and a former member of the Lion's Club of Galt. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street where the family will receive friends today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral and committal service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Thursday March 24, 1988 at 1: 30 p.m. Cremation to follow.
