- Kropf, Addison Monroe - Suddenly, on Monday, May 25, 1998, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, Addison Monroe Kropf, of 118 Queen St. W., in Wellesley. Born in Wilmot township 71 years ago. Son of the late David R. Kropf and the late Nancy Leis. Monroe was employed at Labatts Brewery in Waterloo for 45 years, retiring in 1900. He also had a great love for woodworking. Beloved husband of Shirley B. (Hobden) Kropf of Wellesley; dear father of Diane and her husband Scott Fraser of Orillia, Donna and her husband Jerry Cook of Mitchell, Larry and his wife Janice Kropf of Milverton, Kimberley Rettinger and her friend Clayton Pfanner of Wellesley and Cindy Kropf of Wellesley; dear brother of Percy and his wife Orillia Kropf, Eric and his wife Delores Kropf and Pearl Roberts, all of Kitchener. Lovingly remembered by 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by one brother, Hilbert Kropf and one sister, Phyllis Long. Visitation at the Futher Bros. Funeral Home, 40 Henry St. W., Wellesley, where family and friends will be received this evening (Tuesday) from 7-9 p.m. A private family service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, with Rev. Rick Price officiating. Internment will follow in Rush's Cemetery in Wellesley township. Memorials to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy for the late Addison Monroe Kropf.
