    • Mrs. William Witt

      Mrs. William Witt of 179 Fergus Ave. died Thursday at K-W Hospital after a brief illness. She was 93. Mrs. Witt was the former Mary Forler. Born in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Forler. She was a resident of the Twin City area all her life and was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church and a member of the Independent Dorcas Society. She was predeceased by her husband in 1927, a son Clayton in 1961 and by five brothers and four sisters. Surviving are a granddaughter and a great-granddaughter. The body will be at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home after 4 p.m. Saturday where Dr. A. W. Lotz will conduct a service Monday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in St. Peter's Lutheran cemetery.
