  Karl L. Danner TAVISTOCK - A resident of Canada since May, 1947, Karl Ludwig Danner, 88, died at noon Tuesday in New Hamburg, at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Schroeder. With Mrs. Danner they had been spending the winter months in New Hamburg, but had made their home in Tavistock with their daughter, Mrs. Gustave Martin and Mr. Martin Mr. Danner was born in Vystit?n, Lithuania, April 23, 1864 and had married the former Matilda (Broslet) Nov. 25, 1893. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Sebastopol. Surviving are his wife; one son, Otto, New Hamburg, three other daughters, Mrs. Edward Kromm in Germany; Mrs. Harry Morgenroth, London, and Mrs. Adolph Kinat, Kitchener; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. The body is resting at the Robert Krug Funeral Home, Tavistock, where a private service will be held at 2:30 Friday, followed by a public memorial serviced at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sebastopol and burial is in the adjoining cemetery.
