    • ZEHR, Glen Glen Henry Zehr of RR#2, Brussels passed away suddenly, on Friday, June 22, 2012. Born in Phillipsburg on May 24, 1941, Glen was in his 72nd year. Glen was the beloved husband of 54 years to Greta (Zwaag) Zehr. Dear son of Arleatha Brown of Tavistock. Loving father of Deborah and Ken Van Beek of RR#2, Brussels and Gerry Zehr of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Dear brother of Larry and Carol Zehr, and Karen and Murray Hamilton, all of New Hamburg. Dear brother-in-law of Albert and Helen Zwaag of Kitchener, Hillie Zwaag of New Hamburg, Hans and Sharon Zwaag of New Hamburg, and Pat and Floyd Gerber of Wellesley. Dear step-brother to Lois and Gary Hoffman, and Howard Brown. Also loved by his grandchildren Glen, Gayle, Andy, Candice, and Brandon and his nine great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his father Henry, his brother Murray, his step-father Syd Brown and step- brothers Doug and Roy Brown. Friends will be received by the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday from the Schimanski Family Funeral Home, 401 Albert Street, Brussels, where the funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 27th at 2: 00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Elwin Garland. A Royal Canadian Legion service will be conducted at the funeral home Tuesday evening at 7: 00 p.m. under the auspices of Brussels Legion No. 218. Burial to take place in Brussels Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Brussels Legion No. 218 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario would be appreciated.
