Oakley, Edward Joseph - Mr. Oakley, of 84 Dorset St., Waterloo went to be with his Lord, on Thursday, Oct. 5, 1989. Beloved husband of Mrs. Barbara Oakley of Waterloo. Fondly remembered by his son, Eddy Oakley and one daughter, Jean Weland and her husband Larry. Also remembered by two sisters, Ruth Hickory and her husband Gord of Hamilton and Jean Kuhn of Kitchener. Mr. Oakley was also grandfather of Greg, Christopher and Jonathan Weland. Mr. Oakley's family will received friends at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King St. S., Waterloo, this evening (Friday) from 7-9 p.m. Prayers will be offered at the funeral home Saturday at 8: 30 a.m., followed by the funeral mass at St. Michael's RC Church, Father T. Molson officiating. Internment Woodland cemetery, Kitchener. Expressions of sympathy can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. Rosary, this evening (Friday) at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends and relatives are invited back to the Reception Room at the funeral home following the committal.
