  BARDON, Helen A. - Peacefully, at her residence, on Sunday, May 20, 2007. The former Helen Anne Harper aged 83 years. Helen was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church. Loving mother of Michael and his wife Brenda of Kingston, Patrick and his wife Judy of Mississauga and Heather and her husband Dieter Euler of Waterloo; cherished grandmother to Christine and her husband Michael, Elizabeth and her husband Marc, Christopher and his wife Emma and Trevor and his partner Ellie; dear sister to Irene and her husband Alf Dernesch of Waterloo and Janet and her husband Ken Perrin of Woodstock; special sister to Howard Lichty and his wife Ethel of Cambridge and treasured sister-in-law and friend of Nancy and Louis Koppeser and Joan Bardon of Kitchener. Predeceased by her parents, Earl Harper and Leah (nee Lichty); her beloved husband of 47 years, Louis in 1991 and one son, Stephen; two sisters, Gladys and Ruth and two brothers, Harold and Bob and her little buddy, Max. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home , 621 King St. W., Kitchener, on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. where the funeral and committal service will be held at 1 p.m. On Friday Reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Donations may be made to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home or online at www.ratzbechtelfuneralhome.com Her warm smile, positive attitude and generous heart were an inspiration and comfort to her family and many friends.
