  A. C. Heller Dies After Brief Illness A retired jeweler, Alfred C. Heller, 83, of 96 Charles St. E., died at K-W Hospital, yesterday, following a brief illness. Born in Kitchener, a son of the late Mr, and Mrs. John Heller, he started in the jewelry business with his brothers, at a King Street store, forty-one years ago. He started his own business on Queen Street South. He turned this business over to his sons on retirement, eight years ago. Mr Heller was a charter member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church and served on the church council, from 1919 to 1921 He was one of the original members of the radio committee of the church. He was a member of the 1OOF and the Kitchener Lawn Bowling Club. Mr Heller played with the original Kitchener Ranger football team, more than 60 years ago. His marriage to the former Rose Berner, who survives, took place in Kitchener in 1904. Also surviving are two sons, Wilfred and Ott, both of Kitchener: two daughters, Mrs. Edgar (Mildred) Gimbel of Kitchener and Mrs. Frank (Lillian) McCormick of Elmira: a brother, Adolph of Waterloo and six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Three brothers and four sisters, predeceased him. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, until 12:30 p.m., Saturday, when removal will be made to St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, for service, at 2 p.m. Rev.
