She gave her life to God in her early youth, and was a very devoted and earnest Christian worker during her whole life. Her pleasant disposition won he many friends and she was held in high esteem by all who. know her. The service of her Master was her chief joy. She also took great pleasure in the support of God's cause at home and abroad. She had a warm. heart for the poor and needy, and recently made a fine donation to the needy in Europe. Her gifts to the Ladies Aid Seletics? at different places will he thankfully remembered. Since the death of her husband about 21 years ago she had a comfortable home with her son Daniel and wife. She was ill only a few days, by Saturday she grew much worse and in spite of medical help she passed away on Sunday evening, surrounded by inembers of the family. The cause of her death was acute gastritis, Her departure was unexpected and is deeply felt by her loved ones. The family was blessed with six an one daughter, three sons predeceasing her some years ago. There remain to mourn her departure. Daniel on the old homestead near Heidelberg, John, near Elmira. Aaron of Kitchener and Mrs. John Boos, of Detroit; also three brothers and one sister, eight grand-children and many relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held at her son Daniel's home, on Wednesday afternoon and interment took place at the Evangelical Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at the Heidelberg Evangelical Church at a later date which will be duly announced.
