- GLENN JANTZI 1917 - 2005 Passed away Friday, December 16, 2005, age 87 years, at Trinity Village Care Centre. He is survived by his wife Emma. Dear father of Donald and his wife Jane of South Bend, Indiana and Heather and her husband Daniel Anderson of Kitchener. He will be lovingly remembered by his six grandchildren, Lydia and her husband Barry Schillinger of Battle Creek, Michigan, Erin and her husband Aaron Brown of South Bend, Indiana, Andrew Etcovitch of South Korea, Laura, Kathryn and Scott Etcovitch of Kitchener; and great-grandchildren, Hayden and Halley Schillinger. Brother of Eileen Kennel of Cambridge, Elaine and her husband Laverne Lebold of North Bay, Clare Jantzi, and his wife Marie of London and brother-in-law of Sally Jantzi of Waterloo and Helen Wagner of Baden. He will also be remembered by Emma's family. He was predeceased by his first wife Ethel (Wagner) in 1999; parents, Ida (Gascho) and John O. Jantzi; brothers, Vernon and Roy Jantzi and sisters, Mabel Erb and Aimee Barth. Glenn was a charter and very active member of Faith Evangelical Missionary Church in Kitchener. He was former treasurer of Emmanuel Bible College for 25 years, a former board member of Bethel Publishing and had owned and operated the Canadian Tire store on King Street East in Kitchener. Friends are invited to share their memories of Glenn with his family at the Edward R. Good Funeral Home, 171 King Street South, Waterloo, on Monday (today) from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.. The service to celebrate Glenn's life and faith will be held at Faith Evangelical Missionary Church, 3849 King Street East, Kitchener, on Tuesday, December 20, 2005, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Dr. Richard Kopanke officiating. Interment to follow in Woodland Cemetery, Kitchener. In memory of Glenn, donations to the Emmanuel Bible College or Faith Evangelical Missionary Church would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy and can be arranged through the funeral home.
