- Mr W H Leeson, proprietor of Moore's Cheap Store, has just received one of the largest shipments of Crockery that has ever come to Berlin. It came direct from the manufacturers in the old country and weighs four tons and will be all opened by the end of the week and sold at startling bargains.

William H. Leeson Dies at His Home
William M. Leeson, 79, of 30 Irvin St., former well-known King St. merchant, died at his late residence yesterday following a brief illness.
Mr. Leeson took an active part in the business life of the community more than 25 years ago. He was one of the early members of the Board of Trade and took a keen interest in municipal affairs.
In more recent years Mr. Leeson was identified with the municipal election staff as a deputy returning officer. He presided over the polling booth at the City Hall for many elections.
Born in Montreal, Nov. 18, 1868, he came to Kitchener about 50 years ago.
He was a life member of the Kitchener Lawn Bowling Club.
He is survived by his wife, the former Mabel A. Platts, whom he married in Toronto Nov. 16, 1896. One brother and two sisters also survive him, Charles Leeson, Miss Ada Leeson, Toronto, and Mrs. Marley. Sherris, Hastings-on-Hudson, N.Y.
Mr. Leeson was a member of St. John's Anglican Church, Canon J. N. H. Mills, rector, will conduct the funeral services at 2 p.m. Monday at his late residence. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery.
The body is resting at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home until 10 a.m. Sunday when removal will be made to the residence.
