Notes - JANTZI, Dave It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dave Jantzi, who went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2007. Dave is predeceased by his first wife Joanne Marie (Schick) Jantzi, his father Roy, and his sister Debbie. Dave is survived by his wife Kathryn Jo-Ann Jantzi, his children Jason (Roxanne), Leanna, Thaddeus (Jennifer) and Rebecca. He is also survived by his mom Selina (Sally), brother John (Renee) and nephews Matthew and Joshua. Dave will be greatly missed by many friends. Born in Kitchener, Ontario, Dave joined the army at age 20 and met his first wife while stationed in Germany. They married in 1967 and moved to B.C. in 1968 where Dave joined Dare Foods and was employed by them for about 15 years. After leaving Dare, Dave continued his career in accounting and computing until retirement. Dave was always happy to drop whatever he was doing to lend a helping hand. He had a selfless and loving heart that touched many. The memorial service to celebrate Dave's life, will be held at St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church, in Ladysmith at the corner of Third and Buller, on Thursday, June 28, 2007 at 1 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ladysmith Food Bank or St. John Anglican Church, which was near and dear to Dave's heart. 383522
