- Mrs. Carl Ludolph, widow of Rev. Carl Ludolph who served as pastor of Wiarton and Arnprior churches, died today at K-W Hospital after a long illness. He was 88. She moved to 170 David St. in 1941, after her husband died in 1940. The former Emma Berner, she was born Sept. 23, 1878, in Switzerland, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ulrich Berner. She was a member of St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are one son, Dr. Walter Ludolph of Belleville; one daughter, Mrs. Clayton (Frieda) Kunkel of Kitchener; one sister, Elise Dundas of Toronto; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The body will be at the Gruhn Funeral Home until1 p.m., Saturday, when removal will be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church for the funeral at 2: 30 p.m. Rev. Dr. H. W. Opperman will officiate. Burial will be in Mannheim cemetery.
