- Widrick.-John N., son of John and Anna (Nafziger) Widrick, was born near Croghan, N.Y., May 23, 1867; died Sept. 1, 1947; aged 80 y. 3 m. 8 d. On Feb. 12, 1891 he was united in marriage to Veronica Erb, who survives. Also survivng are 2 daughters (Anna-Mrs. Jacob Yousey, Casterland, N.Y.; and Emma-Mrs. Andrew Moser, Copenhagen, N.Y.), 3 sons (Joel, of Copenhagen; John E. and Aaron E., Lowville, N.Y.), 25 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one sister (Mrs. Anna Roggie), and 2 brothers (Joseph, New Bremen, N.Y.; and Solomon, of Croghan). Two sons and 2 daughters preceded him in death. In his youth he accepted Christ and became a member of the Conservative Amish Mennonite Church. Funeral services were conducted at the home, by C. M. Nafziger and at the Dadville Church, by Lloyd Boshart and Allen Gingerich. Burial was made in the Croghan Cemetery.
