- Clarence (Clare) Struke, 39, of 99 Dover St., Waterloo, died Tuesday at his home after suffering a heart attack. Born May 8, 1920 in Hanover, he was a son of William Struke and the former Emma Schultz of Waterloo. He lived in Waterloo most of his life and was a driver for Canadian Breweries Ltd., for about 20 years. He was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Mr. Struke served in the Royal Canadian Air Force in Canada and Europe for four years during the Second World War. Surviving, besides his parents, are his wife, the former Elaine Kropf; a son, James, 7, at home; a daughter, Shirley, at home and two sisters, Mrs. Frederick (Lillian) Haak of Aylmer and Mrs. Walter (Dorothy) Zurbrigg of Stratford. The body is at the Edward R. Good Funeral Chapel where the funeral will be conducted Friday at 2 p.m. by Rev. John Zimmerman of St. Mark's Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Memory Gardens, Breslau.
