  • Notes
    • According to a 5 February 1944 article in the Kitchener Daily Record, documents the 4 February 1944 collision between the car of Chester Madill of Albert Street North, Waterloo, and a Kitchener Public Utilities streetcar, near the corner of Doehn and King Street East, Kitchener, Ontario. Madill suffered a head cut and body bruises in th accident. The car had been hit broadside, while Madill was making a left hand turn on King Street. The car was pushed down the tracks for a short distance. Madill was taken to the office of Dr. Willard Sehl for treatment and then from there to St. Mary's Hospital.

The driver of the streetcar was Howard Kuntz of Lancaster Street East, Kitchener. He stated that the train was going west on King Street at a speed of 15 to 20 miles an hour and stated that Madill had turned in front of him without warning. Madill had stopped as Doehn Street to let out a couple of air force passengers just prior to turning and colliding with the streetcar.
