      At Kitchener-Waterloo Hospital, on Tuesday, April 11, 1978, after a brief illness, age 67 years. Walter Martin of 108 Avalon Place, Kitchener. A member of St. Joseph's RC Church, the Senior Citizens and a retired employee of Bauer Felt Ltd. Son of the late Anthony Martin and Pearl Spahr. Surviving is his wife the former Delphine Kavelman; three sons, Leonard and Howard of Kitchener and Frederick of Elmira; two daughters, Geraldine (Mrs. Murray Peltz) of Cambridge (G) and Yvonne (Mrs. Richard Disano) of Mitchell; two brothers, Ralph and Alvin and one step-brother, Gordon Kropp, all of Kitchener and two sisters, Mrs. Thelma Hartung and Mrs. Edith Voelzing, both of Kitchener and one step-sister, Lorraine (Mrs. Anthony Dietrich) of Waterloo, also survived by 18 grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers, Irvin, Herman and Harold and one sister, Valeria. Visitation was at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home, 51 Benton St., Kitchener, after 7 p.m. Wednesday. Parish scripture service Thursday at 8 p.m. Prayers were offered at the funeral home on Friday, April 14, at 9: 60 a.m., followed by Mass of the Christian Burial at St. Joseph's RC Church at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Memoryy Gardens.
