  HATHAWAY, Rolena Violet At the Riverdale Hospital, Toronto, Ont., June 3, 1981, Rolena Violet Roos, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late George B. Hathaway, daughter of the late Edward and Mena Roos. Dear mother of Frederick B. (Ted) Hathaway of Vancouver, B.C.: Norman B. Hathaway of Toronto; dear grandmother of Anne, George, Caryl, Norman, Cynthia and Amy; dear great-grandmother of Christy, Emily and Jennifer. Predeceased by two grandsons, Peter and David. Sadly missed by her nieces, Angela (Boehmer) Merner of Kitchener and Marian (Sharp) Boyd of Mississauga. Born in Fredonia, New York. She was a member of a pioneer Waterloo County family and was the Gold Medal graduate of the K-W Hospital school of nursing in 1912. Friends may call at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home, 467 Sherbourne St., Toronto (near Wellesley Street), after 7 p.m. Thursday (today). Funeral service in the chapel, Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in the Preston cemetery, Cambridge, Ont., at 11: 45 a.m. Saturday. Parking adjacent to the funeral home.
