On Tuesday, June 19, 1990, at Stratford General Hospital, Katie Kuepfer, of RR 1, Newton.
She was born in Mornington township 80 years ago, a daughter of the late Joseph S. Kuepfer and the former Fannie Schmidt. She was a member of the Old Order Amish faith.
Beloved wife of Elmer L. Kuepfer, and lovingly remembered by her children, Allan K. Kuepfer , Fanny and her husband Reuben J. Kuepfer , all of RR 1, Milverton, Laura and her husband Ammon Kuepfer of RR 2, Milverton, Jacob K. Kuepfer and his wife Martha of RR 1, Newton; sadly missed by 30 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Andrew of Zurich and one sister, Emma (Mrs. Dan. W. Zehr) of RR 1, Newton.
Katie was predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Laura Kuepfer in 1990; one grandchild, Charlotte Anne and four brothers, Christian, Mose, Noah and Jacob.
Friends and relatives may call at the home of her son-in-law, Reuben J. Kuepfer, Lot 12, Con. 4, Mornington township (RR 1, Milverton), after 7:30 p.m., tonight (Wednesday) and until Friday, where the service will be held at 1 p.m., with Bishop Joseph A. Kuepfer officiating. Interment to follow in the Seventh Line Amish Mennonite cemetery, Wellesley township.
