Notes - KOEBEL, Donald F. At the Grand River Hospital, K-W Health Centre, on Monday, April 30, 2012, after a lengthy illness. Donald Francis Koebel, aged 76 years. Donald had been a custodian with the Waterloo Regional District School Board for over 31 years retiring in 1997 and a member of the Kitchener Legion. Dear husband to Ria Vandenberg, loving father to Douglas and his wife Tricia, Matthew and his wife Jennifer and Teresa and her husband John Morosan all of Kitchener and Stephen and his wife Jennifer of Waterloo, beloved Pumpa to Ashley, Natalie, William, Hailey, Hannah, Devin, Ayden and Nathan and brother to Elaine Cowan of Waterloo. Predeceased by her parents Lloyd Koebel and Kathleen Jadeski. Friends may call at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home, 621 King St. W., Kitchener on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11: 00 a.m. from the Chapel, with Deacon Philip Trembley C.R. officiating, reception to follow in the Ratz-Bechtel Family Centre. Donations may be made to the Grand River Regional Cancer Centre as expressions of sympathy through the funeral home.
