- Gordon McLennan, 49, of 20 King St., Elmira died at K-W Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Millbank, July 22, 1914, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George McLennan and had been a barber In Elmira since 1936. A member of Wesley United Church, Elmira, he served overseas during the Second World War and was a member of the Canadian Legion. Surviving are his wife, the former Ena Ruby Hahn, whom be mar-ried Oct. 3, 1938, in Glen Allen; two brothers. Victor of Doon and Lorne of Millbanit and a sister, Mrs. Alex (Isobel) Cutherbertson of Milton. One brother predeceased him. The body was at the Dreisinger Funeral Parlor in Elmira. The service will be conducted in the chapel Tuesday at 2: 30 p.m. with Rev. A. L. Evans officiating. Burial will be in Elmira Cemetery.
