  REY, Urias January 23, 1923 - December 12, 2009 Passed away peacefully at home. Predeceased by his beloved wife Malinda (Eby) (May 9, 2006). Left to mourn, one son Melvin Frey at home, two daughters Minerva and Elam Bauman of RR 1, Fergus, and Ada and Jason Showalter of RR 1, Elmira; 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; sisters Lydian and Noah Horst of RR 4, Elmira, and MaryAnn Martin of RR 1, St. Jacobs, and a brother Ephraim and Stella Frey of Kitchener. Also survived by sisters-in-law Melinda Eby and Elvina (Leander) Martin. He was predeceased by a sister Nancy Frey, a brother Joseph Frey; brother-in-law Aden Martin; and on the Eby side, predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters-in-law. Friends and relatives will be received at Dreisinger Funeral Home , Elmira, on Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday 2-4 p.m. Visitation Monday evening from 7-9 p.m. will be held at the family home at 7584 Reid Woods Drive, RR 1, Elmira. A family service will be held at his home on Tuesday at 9 a.m. followed by further public service in the Elmira Mennonite Meeting House with burial in the adjoining cemetery.
