  WATSON - Mrs. Maud passed away at her residence 128 Berkley Crescent Simcoe, formerly of Elizabeth Street Cambridge, on Wednesday April 12th 1989. Maud Grieve in her 91st year, beloved wife of the late Harry Watson, dear mother of Joyce (Mrs. Harold Gill) of Simcoe, step-mother of Ross Watson of Cambridge and Kathryn (Mrs. Gordon Butler) of Rockton. Dear sister of Arthur Grieve of Buffalo. Also survived by 4 grandaughters and several step grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband Leonard W. Gordier and a sister Carrie Hallman. Mrs. Watson was born in Waterloo Township on January 22nd 1899 and was a member of Knox Galt Presbyterian Church and active in many church organizations. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home 96 St. Andrews Street, where the family will receive friends this evening from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday April 15th at 1:30 p.m. Interment New Hope Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations to Knox Galt Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family.
