  Altamore, Mrs. Helen Caroline - Passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, on Thursday, July 27, 1989, Helen Hawes, of 43 Colquhoun St., Ayr, in her 69th year. Beloved mother of Sharon (Mrs. Glen Winslade) of British Columbia; dear daughter of Eve Hawes of Ayr; dear sister of Floyd Hawes, Lloyd and Gerry, all of Cambridge and Doreen (Mrs. James Mast) of Ayr; dear grandmother of Mark. Mrs. Altamore was born in Ayr on July 2, 1921 and has lived all her life in Ayr. Resting at Coutts and Son Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrew St., Cambridge, where the family will receive friends on Friday (today) from 2-4 and -9 pm. Funeral and committal services will be held from the funeral home chapel on Saturday, July 29, at 11 am, with Rev. Roy Shepherd officiating. Interment Ayr Cemetery.
