- WEDDINGS
ZIMMERMAN-ROBINSON A quiet winter wedding took place on Wednesday, Dec. 6, at the home of Rev. and Mrs. J. J. Lowe, Hespeler, when Mrs. Mary Robinson was united in marriage to Charles Zimmerman. For her wedding the bride chose a navy blue dress trimmed with white lace and blue accessories. Her flowers were roses and baby's breath. The bridesmaid, Miss Gladys Bennett, of Galt, was gowned in pale green with matching accessories and a corsage of roses and baby's breath. Robert Zimmerman of Galt was best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's daughter, Mrs. Samuel Bennett, Ninth concession. The bride's table was centred with a three-tiered wedding cake flanked with bouquets of winter flowers and pink and white decorations. Mrs. R. Davidson was hostess at the wedding supper. The gift of the groom to the bridesmaid was a cosmetic set and to the best man a wallet. After a wedding trip to points west the couple will reside on the Ninth concession. Guests were present from the east coast, Puslinch. Chatham and Galt.
