- George Marth of 44 Onward Ave., died Sunday at the K-W Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 88. Born in New Hamburg, he was a cabinet maker at Canada Cabinet and Furniture Ltd. of Waterloo for 18 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Canadian Order of Foresters. Surviving besides his wife, the former Betty Boardman, are one son, Walter in the United States; three daughters, Mrs. Albert (Frieda) Nutter and Mrs. Arnold (Irene) Schnarr, both of Waterloo, and Mrs. Louise (Hilda) McNaughton of Hespeler; one sister, Mrs. Jacob (Tina) Ebel of Waterloo; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home where Rev. Henry Opperman will conduct the service Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery. Donations to the crippled children's fund will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
