• Notes

  George Marth of 44 Onward Ave., died Sunday at the K-W Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was 88. Born in New Hamburg, he was a cabinet maker at Canada Cabinet and Furniture Ltd. of Waterloo for 18 years. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church and the Canadian Order of Foresters. Surviving besides his wife, the former Betty Boardman, are one son, Walter in the United States; three daughters, Mrs. Albert (Frieda) Nutter and Mrs. Arnold (Irene) Schnarr, both of Waterloo, and Mrs. Louise (Hilda) McNaughton of Hespeler; one sister, Mrs. Jacob (Tina) Ebel of Waterloo; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body is at the Schreiter-Sandrock Funeral Home where Rev. Henry Opperman will conduct the service Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.
