    • Russel Anthony Gehl of 35 Carlton St., died suddenly at his home Monday after a heart attack. He was 55.

      Born in Kitchener, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gehl. He had lived in Kitchener all his life and was employed as a rubber worker at Uniroyal Ltd. for 28 years until retiring last October.

      He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

      Surviving besides his wife, the former Martha Elizabeth Witt whom he married Jan. 23, 1943, are a son, Donald William of Kitchener; a daughter, Carol Ann of Kitchener; two brothers, John of Kitchener and William of Waterloo; and seven sisters, Rose and Alberta, Mrs. Archi- bald (Marie) MacDonald, and Mrs. Verlie Blumen, all of Kitchener, Mrs. Alfred (Pearl) Dietrich and Mrs. Betty Weiss, both of Waterloo, and Mrs. George (Jean) Peters of Dallas, Tex.

      The body is at the Ratz-Bechtel Funeral Home where the service will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Henry Opperman officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope cemetery.

      Donations to the Ontario Heart Foundation will be accepted as expressions of sympathy.
