Mrs. Sarah McKersie
Mrs. Sarah McKersie, 98, died unexpectedly yesterday after a long illness, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alice M. Armstrong, 247 Moy avenue.
She was born in Hespeler, Ont., and lived in St. Thomas before moving to live with her daughter here five years ago. Her husband, David, died 14 years ago. She was a member of Central United Church.
Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Edward Scofield and Mrs. Ethel Russell of Detroit, Mrs. Allen Menzel of Virginia and Mrs. Armstrong with
whom she lived.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon at the Morris Funeral Chapel, 1624 Wyandotte street east, with Rev. M. C. Parr officiating. Interment will be in Roseland Park Cemetery, Royal Oak, Mich.
