  Abraham D. Shantz, was born March 6th, 1836. He was first married to Mary Traffy and after her decease to Rosena Bockus. They reside in Walkerton, Ontario, where he is engaged in some business. His family consists of twelve children, namely: VI Nancy (dead), VI Eliza, VI Emma Ann, and VI Enoch of the first wife, and VI David, VI Allan, VI Charles, VI Mary Ann, VI Edith, and two sons and a daughter who died in infancy, names not received, of second wife."
