  Henry Schaus Answers Call One of Waterloo's respected citizens quietly passed away at 8:30 o'clock on Saturday evening in the person of Mr. Henry Schaus, Bellevue Avenue. The deceased was ill two weeks and his death was not unexpected. The late Mr. Schaus was born in Grey County in 1866 and was 46 years of age. In 1891, he was married to Miss Emma Miller, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry S. Miller. He is survived by his wife and six children, five daughters and one son. The children are: Herbert, Adeline, Luella, Carrie, Hilda and Minetta, all at home. Mr. Jacob Schaus, Hanover, and Mr. Philip Schaus, Waldville, Sask., are brothers, while the surviving sisters are Mrs. John Kiergarth, Hanover, and Mrs. John Lauman, Waterloo. His mother, Mrs. John Schaus, who is 83 years old, also survives him. The deceased came to Waterloo about six years ago from Elmira. For a number of years he had been employed at Mueller's Cooperage and had been a faithful employee Berlin News Record.
